Job summary

Butler Rose is recruiting a management accountant for a well-established organisation in Newton Abbot on a fixed-term basis for 15 months. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you'll deliver accurate management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and statutory reporting while partnering with operational stakeholders to support business performance.

This is a hybrid role with 1-2 days in the office each week and a flexible working environment.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or part-qualified / qualified by experience.
• Strong management accounting background.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills.
• Confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders.
• Proactive, organised and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Production of monthly management accounts and commentary.
• Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments.
• KPI and performance reporting.
• Year-end accounts, audit and VAT support.
• Financial business partnering across the organisation.
