Job summary

2020 Recruitment Limited is partnering with a UK client to appoint a Management Accountant in Stonehouse on a 12-month temporary basis. The role covers general accounting, AP, AR and management reporting within a small finance team.

You will have an AAT qualification or equivalent, with progress towards ICAS/ ACCA/ CIMA, and strong Excel/ERP skills to support reporting deadlines and controls.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification and working towards ICAS, ACCA or CIMA, or equivalent.
• Experience in a finance role with accounting processes.
• Excel and ERP systems proficiency; strong communication and organisation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and ageing analysis.
• Compiling and reviewing lease schedules.
• Preparing and reviewing SOX control documentation.
• Assisting with government reporting requirements.
• Liaising with the shared service centre and overseas colleagues to ensure procedures and controls.
• Supporting month-end processes and the preparation of management reports.
• Collating documentation for external auditors.
• Preparing accruals and maintaining accounting records.
• Completing year-end accounting analysis and tax summaries.
• Supporting senior finance colleagues with other accounting tasks.
• Following company financial, legal and health and safety procedures.
