  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other overhead departments to deliver actionable insights.
  • Present financial performance and KPIs to senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts, including overhead reviews, month end journal posting and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting across multiple cost centres.
  • Use Power Query and Power Automate to streamline reporting processes and improve data integrity.
  • Demonstrate resilience and persistence when implementing process improvements across teams.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and support the implementation of AI‑driven solutions.
  • Coach junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Review and approve journals in line with authorisation limits.
  • Contribute to the development and testing of new incentive schemes and financial policies.
  • Support the annual budgeting process and ad hoc strategic reviews.

What can we offer you in return? You’ll be joining a highly successful FTSE 100 company, the UK’s largest equipment rental provider. We provide an industry‑leading flexible rewards package including generous holiday allowance (with the opportunity to buy and sell annual leave), life assurance, retail discount scheme, employee recognition awards, and a great company pension scheme.

About You

If you join the team we’ll provide you with everything you need and ensure you are equipped for success. We’ll talk to you about your training and personal development needs and what you’d like to do to further your career and support your future aspirations.
