This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving organisation, working closely with Directors and senior stakeholders to support and drive financial performance.

The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in managing day‑to‑day finance operations while delivering meaningful financial insight to support business growth. This is a hands‑on position, ideal for an ambitious individual seeking long‑term progression with a rapidly developing company.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
  • Ownership of budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Producing meaningful management information and commentary for Directors.
  • Supporting strategic business decisions through financial analysis and insight.
  • Overseeing payroll processing and associated reporting.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and month‑end duties.
  • Working closely with operational teams to understand and support business performance.
  • Running all financial transactions and payments.
  • Continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
Required
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Part‑or fully‑qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
  • Confident working in a fast‑paced and growing business environment
  • Payroll experience essential
  • Experience within the horticultural or distribution sector is beneficial but not essential
