Salary - £40,000+ depending on experience

Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working. Part-time hours - 4 days a week / 30 hours minimum will be considered

Holiday - 23 days annual leave (excluding Bank Holidays) - increasing by one day per year up to a maximum of 28 days

About the role

Due to growth, our central finance team has an opportunity for a proactive Management Accountant to join our Portsmouth office with flexible hybrid working.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role involves overseeing monthly management accounts for subsidiaries, preparing accounts for complex subsidiaries, authorising payments, and monitoring cash flow. You will also support and develop Finance Assistants.

About you

Ideally, you will be ACCA / ACA qualified with 1-3 years post-qualification experience, preferably in an accountancy practice. Qualified by experience or AAT candidates will also be considered.

You should have strong organisational skills, be proficient in Xero and Excel, reliable, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator capable of managing relationships and handling financial queries.

Previous experience with Xero is advantageous.
