Job summary

Facilities by ADF, the UK's leading provider of premium mobile facilities for film and television, is recruiting a Management Accountant for our Bridgend Head Office. You will own the monthly management accounts for a subsidiary, support cash flow forecasting, and maintain ledgers while aiding statutory reporting.

This commercially minded role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification, strong Excel skills, and exposure to Sage Intacct would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification required or newly qualified.
• Strong commercial awareness with ability to challenge trends and provide financial insight.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across the business.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Sage Intacct would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
• Produce cash flow reports and forecasts.
• Maintain core ledgers (sales, purchases, bank, fixed assets).
• Prepare annual statutory accounts.
• Develop and enhance reporting in Sage Intacct to improve automation.
• Prepare and analyse KPI reports to support performance.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
• Provide support during interim and year-end audits and payroll coverage.

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Bridgend.

Management Accountant - The Role:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts for one of the Group's subsidiary companies while supporting wider finance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys improving processes, analysing performance and working closely with operational teams.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive finance professional who is keen to add value within a fast-paced and growing business.

Management Accountant - Key Responsibilities:

• - Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts
• - Produce cash flow reports and forecasts
• - Maintain the core financial ledgers, including sales, purchase, bank and fixed asset ledgers
• - Preparation of annual statutory accounts
• - Develop and enhance reporting within Sage Intacct, improving automation and reporting efficiency
• - Prepare and analyse KPI reports to support business performance
• - Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• - Provide support during interim and year end audit
• - Provide support and absence cover across the Finance team, including Payroll
• - Work collaboratively across the wider Finance team
• - Deputise for the Financial Controller when required
• - Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls

Management Accountant - About You:

• - ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be newly qualified)
• - Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to challenge trends and provide meaningful financial insight
• - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• - Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• - A collaborative approach and the ability to build positive working relationships across the business
• - Advanced Excel skills and good systems knowledge; experience of Sage Intacct would be advantageous
• - Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
