Job summary

Audika Group is seeking a Management Accountant for the Maidstone area to join our finance team during a period of growth after a significant acquisition.

The role offers exposure to shaping financial reporting, planning, and decision-making across the organisation, with a blend of operational and strategic finance work.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or finalist.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Strong management and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and financial modelling.
• Experience presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Great attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of key month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting.
• Supporting development and improvement of business processes and financial controls.
• Assisting with statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, audit prep and compliance reporting.
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, including ownership of budgets for specific areas.
• Producing and reviewing company, department and regional profit & loss reports.
• Conducting variance analysis and providing commentary to budget holders and senior management.
• Building relationships with operations, sales and stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting acquisition integration activities and finance transformation projects.
• Preparing financial analysis to support strategic and commercial decision-making.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills & Experience

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or finalist.
• Experience preparing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Strong management and financial reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and financial modelling.
• Experience working with and presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload and adapt to changing business priorities.
• Confidence working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.

Desirable

• Experience using Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP systems.
• Experience supporting sales teams or commercial functions.
• Previous involvement in process improvement or change management projects.
