Job summary

Rescourcery Group in Knowsley seeks a Management Accountant to work closely with the UK Finance Manager and site leadership team. You will own the month-end process and produce timely financial information while helping improve reporting, processes and controls.

This role covers budgeting, forecasting, stock, cash flow and commercial analysis, turning numbers into actionable insights for operational decisions and supporting year-end and audits.

Qualifications

• Grounding in management accounts and ability to take responsibility for own workload.
• Be part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA, or equivalent.
• Previous Management Accountant or similar experience.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Confident working with stakeholders across a business.
• Comfortable working to month-end deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Proactive and keen to improve processes and controls.

We’re recruiting for a well-established manufacturing business in Knowsley looking to appoint a Management Accountant to work closely with the UK Finance Manager and site leadership team.

This is a broad role combining month-end accounting, budgeting and forecasting, stock, cash flow and commercial analysis, with plenty of opportunity to understand what is happening operationally and turn the numbers into useful information for the business.

As Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of the month-end process for the site, producing accurate and timely financial information while helping improve reporting, processes and financial controls.

Responsibilities will include:

A particularly important part of the role will be producing the monthly reporting pack for the Site General Manager, highlighting performance and identifying areas for improvement.

We’re looking for someone who already has good grounding in management accounts and is comfortable taking responsibility for their own workload.
