Keele University in Keele is seeking a qualified accountant to join the Finance Directorate. You will manage a designated portfolio of Schools and Professional Services, delivering accurate financial information and advising on strategic financial decisions.
The post holder will work with the Associate Director of Finance to implement the University’s financial strategy, produce standardised reporting, and provide customer-focused financial management support to internal customers.
This post represents an exciting opportunity for a motivated team member to join a team of staff in Keele University's Finance Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for managing the institution's financial affairs including the production of internal management information and the annual accounts.
The post holder will work closely with the Associate Director of Finance, ensuring the delivery of the financial strategy of the University, whilst managing your designated Portfolio of Schools and Professional Services. You will work closely with Deans, Heads of Schools and Directors of professional services, providing accurate, reliable and customer focused financial management information and advice, ensuring the delivery of the University's goals, through the provision of support, challenge and influence.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the production of timely and accurate financial management information to your designated portfolio, whilst supporting the Associate Director of Finance to deliver a customer focused, standardised reporting to the University.
You will be a qualified accountant with excellent analytical, financial management, organisational, problem solving and communication skills.
