Job summary

An established international manufacturing business is seeking a Management Accountant to produce accurate financial reporting and enhance processes. Responsibilities include managing monthly accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and liaising with auditors. Applicants should be qualified or part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have knowledge of IFRS, along with experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of IFRS is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and analysing variances.
  • Manage journal postings, accruals, reconciliations.
  • Improve and maintain financial controls and processes.
  • Contribute to group consolidation.
  • Prepare annual statutory financial statements.
  • Support the development of reporting systems.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support the audit process.

Skills

This role will be instrumental in producing accurate financial reporting and identifying opportunities to enhance processes. You will work closely with teams across various business units, delivering insights and analysis that support informed commercial decision-making.
