We have a fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified or qualified by experience Management Accountant with a minimum of three years' experience to join our team at our Head Office in Renfrew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts to a high standard in line with the monthly timetable.
  • Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts across the full group.
  • Produce timely and accurate group consolidations, including IFRS journals.
  • Support the preparation of the monthly board pack, including detailed analysis and supporting data.
  • Assist with statutory audits and reviews.
  • Deliver key business variance analysis commentary and key metrics.
  • Support and prepare cash flow forecasts.
  • Communicate effectively across the business with operational, sales and other key budget holders.
  • Promote continuous improvement across business policies and processes, implementing positive change.
  • Supporting and mentor assistant accountants.
  • Support direct and indirect tax activities across the group.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • Professionally qualified (CA, CIMA, or ACCA).
  • Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of key business drivers.
  • Experience working in an industry-based accounting role.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Self‑motivated with a proactive, "can‑do" attitude.
  • Flexible and confident working on a variety of ad hoc projects.
  • Ability to explain financial metrics and concepts to other non‑finance managers.
  • Strong organisational skills.
