Management Accountant

Location: Hull
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE

The Opportunity:

• Overseeing a range of monthly financial reconciliations to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Supporting the month-end process through the preparation of journals, balance adjustments, and related analysis.
• Monitoring and reconciling banking activity, petty cash, and company card expenditure.
• Managing multi-currency transactions.
• Coordinating regular supplier payment cycles.
• Preparing statutory returns, including indirect tax submissions.
• Other ad‑hoc finance support.

About You:

• Experience in a finance or accounts role with exposure to month‑end reporting
• Good understanding of accounting principles and confidence working with financial data
• Working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems (e.g. Sage, SAP, or similar)
• Part‑qualified or newly qualified (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach to tasks
• You ll also be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing priorities, and providing support to others.
