A leading water and wastewater company is seeking a Management Accountant - Capital Delivery to join their financial control team. This role involves overseeing financial reporting for a complex capital delivery portfolio, ensuring accurate financial data and insights for stakeholders. Applicants should be fully qualified accountants with strong capital accounting experience and effective communication skills. The position is hybrid based in Reading, offering competitive salary and benefits including annual leave and pension scheme.
We’re looking for a Management Accountant - Capital Delivery (Waste) to join our AO&CD Financial Control team, supporting one of the largest and most complex capital delivery programmes in the UK.
Reporting to the Capital Delivery Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in owning and delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting for our Waste Capital Delivery portfolio. You’ll lead the month-end close, provide assurance over the numbers and translate financial data into meaningful insight for operational and senior stakeholders.
You will:
Base location: Hybrid - Clearwater Court, Reading
Working pattern: 36 hours, Monday to Friday
We’re looking for a fully qualified accountant with strong capital accounting experience, who enjoys working in a complex, delivery-focused environment and can confidently engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
