Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Dudley (Onsite)

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum

Working Hours: 5 days a week, Monday - Friday

Management Accountant required for a small, dynamic finance team for a fantastic engineering business based in Dudley, West Midlands. We are looking for a hands‑on accountant to support their growing operations. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a strong, collaborative team where your skills will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with month‑end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare management accounts, reports, and financial analysis for senior management.
• Work extensively with large datasets to extract insights and support decision‑making.
• Maintain and improve Excel‑based reporting and financial models.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate reporting and smooth financial operations.
• Collaborate with the finance team to deliver high‑quality results.

Requirements:

• ACCA or AAT qualified (or part‑qualified).
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar finance role.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of data and financial systems.
• Hands‑on, proactive, and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, close‑knit team.
