Job SummaryWe are seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our finance team at Brompton Technology, a multinational organisation with operations in the USA, China, Taiwan, and beyond. This role is critical in delivering insightful financial reporting and supporting decision-making across multiple regions.

You'll be responsible for preparing management accounts, forecasting, and analysing performance, while collaborating with colleagues across time zones and cultures. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts for regional and consolidated group reporting
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles for designated entities or cost centres
• Analyse financial performance, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with international teams (USA, China, Taiwan) to align financial data, timelines, and standards
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and support multi-currency reporting
• Assist with transfer pricing, compliance, and statutory audit processes across jurisdictions
• Support group-level reporting and internal controls across global operations
• Contribute to continuous improvements in financial systems, processes and reporting standards

Essential Qualifications

• Newly qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Demonstrable experience in management accounting or FP&A, ideally within a multinational business and specifically in China
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Proficient in Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems, ideally Oracle NetSuite
• Comfortable working across time zones and with multicultural teams
• Excellent communication skills - able to explain financial data to both finance and non-finance colleagues
• Strong attention to detail, proactive approach and able to meet deadlines in a global context

Desirable Extras

• Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation
• Exposure to financial operations in China and USA
• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS
• Working knowledge of Mandarin or experience working with Chinese-speaking teams is a plus
