Management Accountant Luxury Interiors / Natural Stone Sector

Location: Bounds Green, North London
Salary: £40,000 £50,000 (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a well‑established luxury interiors business specialising in bespoke marble and natural stone fabrication for high‑end residential and commercial projects. They are seeking a Management Accountant to take ownership of day‑to‑day financial operations and support senior management with accurate reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of purchase and sales ledger, including PO approvals, invoicing, reconciliations, and payments.
  • Oversee month‑end processes, including journals, P&L, cash flow, and VAT submissions.
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and intercompany accounts across multiple entities.
  • Complete CIS and PAYE submissions and maintain compliance with HMRC deadlines.
  • Support billing and project valuation processes, ensuring accuracy across production and installation schedules.
  • Assist with payroll processing, timesheets, and overtime approvals.
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
  • Drive process improvements across accounting systems and internal controls.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Senior Assistant Accountant role.
  • Strong understanding of CIS, VAT, and management accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Sage and Excel (pivot tables, v‑lookups).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
  • Experience within manufacturing, construction, or interiors sectors preferred.
  • Part‑qualified or qualified by experience (CIMA/ACCA/AAT).
