Job summary

Artis Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant to join a secure manufacturing business near Cardiff. You will support the FD with the month-end close and provide analysis for the operational teams, helping to drive value through detailed financial insights.

The role offers hybrid working as you establish relationships, with potential to progress toward leading a small finance function in the longer term. A proactive, curious mindset and strong accounting experience are essential.

We are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a successful and secure manufacturing business based near Cardiff.

Supporting the FD with the month end close and outside of month end carrying out business partnering and analysis for the operational teams this role is a really interesting highly visible position that will add value almost immediately. It requires an accounting professional who is nearly or newly qualified with very strong people and relationship building skills with an enthusiasm to learn and develop and take on tasks that you may not have experience of such as fixed asset work, costings, margin analysis and financial reporting. A positive approachable personality is key as is a “can do” attitude and having the initiative to ask questions and resolve challenges through investigation. This role will offer hybrid working once you’ve established yourself and built relationships and long term there could be an opportunity to lead the small finance function of 4.
