Job summary

Bis Henderson Recruitment in Cannock is seeking a Management Accountant to produce accurate daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting, including management accounts, with a commercial mindset to support decision-making.

You will strengthen financial controls and drive process improvements while working with stakeholders to boost business performance. The role requires part-qualification in ACCA/CIMA and advanced Excel skills, plus strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Produce Daily, Weekly, and Monthly analysis reports.
• Prepare accurate weekly and monthly Management Accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Produce variance analysis, KPI reporting and financial insights.
• Work around Accruals, Journals, General Ledger, and KPI Reporting.
• Take charge of key areas such as Balance Sheet, Stock Control, Fixed Fleet Costs, and Capital Expenditure.

Location: Cannock

Salary: £45,000.00

Summary:

The Management Accountant will be responsible for producing accurate daily, weekly and monthly financial reporting, including the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts. You will be commercially minded and provide insight to support decision-making and work proactively with stakeholders to help drive business performance while also focusing on strengthening financial controls and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce Daily, Weekly, and Monthly analysis reports.
• Preparing accurate weekly and monthly Management Accounts, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Produce variance analysis, KPI reporting and financial insights.
• Work around Accruals, Journals, General Ledger, and KPI Reporting.

Experience:

• Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA and working towards full qualification.
• Relevant Experience: You've held a similar role and have a solid understanding of financial analysis and reporting.
• Proactive Attitude: Enthusiastic with a flexible approach, ready to take initiative.
• Excellent Communicator: Clear communication and presentation skills are essential.
• Excel Expert: Advanced skills in Excel are a must for managing reports and analysis.
