Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a 6-month temporary contract in central Cambridge. The role is office-based with parking and excellent public transport links, starting in the coming weeks.

You will work with the Finance Manager to produce monthly management accounts, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support budgeting and forecasting. CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification is required, with the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
• Experience producing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Able to manage own workload with minimal supervision and start promptly.

• Producing the monthly management accounts including journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Variance and performance reporting.
• Assisting with budget setting and forecasting.
• Supporting with adhoc projects in finance.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant for a 6 month temporary contract based in central Cambridge, this role will be office based but will offer some parking for part of the week and the location has excellent public transport links.

This position has arisen due to an increase in workload and the potential additional support for a new system implementation, this will be for 6 months initially but has the potential to extend or become permanent.

Working with the Finance Manager you will provide support with the following duties -

• Producing the monthly management accounts - tasks such as posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations, ensure all invoicing is accurate and captured in the system.
• Variance and performance reporting
• Assisting with budget setting and forecasting
• Supporting with adhoc projects in finance if required.

You must be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified and be comfortable taking on the above tasks, you must be able to manage your own workload with minimal supervision and be available to start a new role in the coming weeks.
