Affinia, the UK’s fastest growing purpose-led accountancy firm, is seeking a Management Accountant to join our Cambridge team on a hybrid basis. You will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality management information, financial insight and commercial support to help clients make better business decisions.

Responsibilities include producing accurate management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, preparing year-end handovers and mentoring junior team members

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience delivering management accounts and KPI reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and year-end handovers.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with cloud accounting.
• Excellent communication and client relationship management.
• Mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Management Accountant, you will take ownership of a portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality management information, financial insight, and commercial support that helps clients make better business decisions. You will be responsible for producing accurate management accounts, supporting budgeting and forecasting, preparing year-end handovers, and acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and colleagues.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• Excellent bookkeeping, VAT, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Advanced Excel and cloud accounting software skills.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.Experience mentoring junior team members.
• Experience with finance technology and automation.
