Overview

Stirling Dynamics is recruiting a Management Accountant for a 3 month Fixed Term Contract.

Stirling Dynamics is looking for someone to join the Finance team for a short period to support during a busy period.The Finance department at Stirling Dynamics is responsible for reporting on the Company’s financial performance and ensuring that all the necessary controls & processes are in place, thus safeguarding the company assets. The company is fast growing and therefore we are a proactive finance team, who are leading a number of interesting projects to help drive the business forward. We foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high level of service.

The Management Accountant will assist in the delivering and development of key financial processes, including management accounts, month end processes, business unit reporting, budgeting, forecasting, overhead management and tax reporting.

Responsibilities
  • Preparation of Monthly management accounts including variance analysis and balance sheet reconciliations (including multi-currency accounting): accruals, prepayments, journal processing, fixed asset register, stock valuation management.
  • Group reporting
  • Support forecasting & budget setting process, preparation of overhead forecasting with full support of budget holders in their interpretation of financial information on overhead costs
  • Monthly payroll accounting & controlling
  • Taxation including monthly VAT returns
  • Supporting the annual audit process
  • Provision of management information and analysis where required
  • Support finance process, controls & policy improvements
Qualifications

Newly Qualified (ACCA, ACA) preferred but would consider Part Qual’s if QBE
