CMA is delighted to be working with our client who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their growing finance team.

This is a critical position within the finance function, working closely with the CFO and Head of FP&A across a broad range of financial activities including management reporting, cash flow forecasting, and general accounting. The successful candidate will be technically astute, detail-oriented, and proactive, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across the business.

What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets, and financial forecasts
• Managing key responsibilities including reconciliations, VAT returns, and regulatory submissions
• Overseeing accounts payable and supporting receivables to maintain strong financial control
• Preparing cash flow forecasts and financial analysis to support strategic decision making
• Assisting with year‑end processes, audit preparation, and continuous improvement of financial procedures

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part qualified
• Experience in end‑to‑end management accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, PAYE, and financial reporting
