Responsibilities

  • Assisting with budget preparation and analysis
  • Assisting with the preparation of management information and analysis
  • Update / Prepare Product Costings and Price List
  • Financial information compilation for other departments
  • Responsibility for sales data management system
  • Month and year end procedures
  • Quarterly VAT Returns
  • Accruals, Prepayments, and Rebates
  • Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register
  • Assist with Site Insurance, Healthcare and Utility renewals
  • Assist with the year end audit and R+D tax credit computations
  • Assist with HR matters (GDPR, Personnel Records) and Payroll

Skills

Qualified or later stages PQ Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, ICAEW)
Strong systems skills (particularly Microsoft Excel)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to support other team members
Ability to communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues
Ability to manage, prioritise and deliver to deadlines
