The Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a senior radiographer to perform specialist mammography at the Breast Centre and on two mobile units around Wiltshire. The role includes some clinic supervision and management responsibilities.
Working hours are 37.5 per week or part-time in full days, with some evenings and weekends as required. The post involves ultrasound support and interventional procedures in clinics.
The role encompasses working both at the Breast Centre at The Great Western Hospital and on the service's two mobile units which travel around Wiltshire on a three year round plan.
The successful candidate will be expected to carry out routine breast screening and the more specialist mammographic examinations required in screening assessment clinics and symptomatic breast clinics. The post is that of a senior grade and so duties will encompass some managerial and supervisory tasks.
The post will be either full time (37.5 hours per week) or part time (in full days) as agreed with applicant, principally within 8.30-17.30 normal working hours but you will be expected to cover some limited evening and weekend work.
