We are currently seeking male support workers to join our compassionate and professional team supporting a young gentleman with autism, who is non-verbal and has sensory needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a service that is truly values-led and person-centred.
Our approach is guided by Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and a commitment to dignity, respect, and inclusion for all. We support individuals to live a full, happy life – and we support our staff to grow and thrive too.
About the Young Man You'll Support
- Non-verbal with a diagnosis of autism and sensory processing needs
- Enjoys photography, walking in the park, and trips to Starbucks
- Needs a calm, structured, and consistent approach
- May sometimes require support involving physical interventions (training provided)
What You’ll Do
- Support daily routines and promote independence
- Build a trusted relationship through consistency and compassion
- Use proactive strategies to support emotional and behavioural needs
- Celebrate achievements and enable him to pursue his interests and goals
- Work in close partnership with families, professionals, and the wider LIFE team

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with individuals with autism and complex needs
- Confidence and training in physical restraint (Full training given )
- A calm, compassionate, and proactive personality
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset
