On behalf of a young man living in Weymouth, we are seeking male support staff to help him lead a fulfilling and active life in his own home.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy football, gardening, and outdoor activities such as sailing and walking. You should have experience supporting people with learning disabilities, including those who may display anxious behaviors. A genuine passion for making a positive difference in someone’s life, along with a commitment to person-centered, engaging support, is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered support to a young man living in Weymouth to help him lead a fulfilling, active life in his own home.
  • Support participation in activities such as football, gardening, sailing and walking.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining routines, managing anxiety-related behaviors, and promoting independence.
  • Record and report on progress and any changes in needs or safety concerns.
  • Work across shift patterns including mornings, afternoons, sleep-ins (with additional payment of £50) and weekends on a rota.
