Job Title: Male Support Worker

Location: Darlington, DL1

Pay Rate: £15-17 per hour + holiday pay (PAYE)

Job Type: Temp & Temp-Perm

Shift and Schedule: Part time - 25 hours per week (must be available for sociable hours - 5 hours per day across Monday - Friday)

Must: Drive and hold a UK licence & 12 months experience in complex care

A brand-new Support Worker opportunity has arisen to support our 19‑year‑old client with an acquired brain injury. This is an excellent opportunity for a bubbly support worker to help our client live independently.

Client and Role:

  • Going for walks and enjoying the fresh air
  • Supporting gym visits and encouraging fitness goals
  • Planning outdoor activities and mini adventures
  • Sharing plenty of laughs and friendly banter along the way
  • Assisting the 19‑year‑old male client, who lives in his own home with an acquired brain injury, on a 1:1 basis to access social activities
  • Providing rehabilitation assistance and community support
  • Engaging with a chatty and bubbly client, matching personality

Successful Applicant:

  • At least 12 months experience in complex care settings
