Main duties of the job

We are looking for confident Male Support Workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 38.5 hours a week (days/nights/alternate weekends), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Derby.

Shift patterns are 2 weeks of day shifts (7:30 am – 8 pm) and 2 weeks of night shifts (7:30 pm – 8 am) (rota includes week 1 x 33 hours and week 2 x 44 hours).

Due to a genuine occupational need and the demands of the service, we are only able to accept male applicants for this role.

Cygnet Hospital Derby provides low secure and mental health rehabilitation care based on the Recovery Model. The integrated male care pathway includes Litchurch Ward and the Wyvern Unit. Alvaston Ward is a specialist female personality disorder service.
