Job summary

Priority Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting a Support Worker in Chester to assist a male client with Brain Injury to live as independently as possible. The role is bank shifts across weekdays and Saturdays, requiring a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle to accompany the client into the community.

No personal care is required; duties focus on daily living tasks, companionship, and enabling engagement in activities such as gym visits and social outings while ensuring safety and

• Previous experience in care is essential.
• Must be comfortable around animals.
• Must be a male Support Worker.

Responsibilities

• Support the client with daily living tasks without personal care.
• Accompany the client to community activities and outings.
• Provide companionship and enable activities such as gym visits and social outings while ensuring safety and well-being.

Job description

Pay rate: £16 per hour on a weekday and £18 per hour on a weekend plus holiday pay.

Job Type: Bank shifts

Shift and schedule: Bank shifts are across Monday to Friday 9.30am - 19.30pm and Saturdays 9am - 1pm.

Previous experience in care is essential.

Company and Role:

• The client is a male with a Brain Injury.
• No personal care required, it will be supporting him with daily living tasks.
• The individual loves going to the gym, getting tattoos, listening to rock music and being around his animals.
• The client has different pets in his home such as Bearded dragon Lizard, Iguanas, snakes, fish and a dog.
• The shifts are across Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays.
• Required to drive and have access to your own vehicle to take the individual out into the community.
• This isn’t just care, it’s about being a companion, helping someone live fully, and making every day count.

Successful Applicant:

• Must have a full UK Driving License and use clients large car (Ford Ranger) to take the client into the community and supporting with dropping off and picking up family
• Experience working with individuals with a Brain Injury and Complex Care.
• Previous experience in care is essential.
• Must be okay being around animals.
• Must be a male Support Worker.
• Availability to pick up various bank days shifts on adhoc basis.
