Are you an energetic and inspiring PE specialist with a passion for promoting health, fitness and lifelong physical activity? A values-driven All-Through School in Coventry is seeking a Male PE Teacher. To meet statutory safeguarding expectations and ensure appropriate supervision during lessons, fixtures, changing-room transitions and extracurricular clubs for boys, the position specifically requires a male member of staff.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensure safeguarding is prioritised at all times, particularly during changing-room supervision
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality and purposeful PE lessons across KS3-KS4 (KS5 is desirable) that promote skill development and enjoyment of sport
  • Teach a broad range of activities including team sports, individual sports, athletics, fitness and outdoor activities
  • Promote health, fitness and wellbeing as a core part of school life
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to help every learner succeed
  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills following the school's behaviour policy
  • Support the school's values through positive relationships, respect and a commitment to student wellbeing
  • Engage in continuous professional learning, embracing feedback and contribute to departmental excellence
