We are currently seeking Male Learning Support Assistants to join our dedicated team at a specialist SEN school located in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a nurturing environment where every day brings new challenges and triumphs.

Role Overview:
  • Provide one-to-one and group support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH challenges.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored educational plans under the guidance of teaching staff and SEN coordinators.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support students with personal care and mobility needs where required.
What Were Looking For:
  • Male applicants with a genuine interest in SEN education (due to specific student needs and safeguarding requirements).
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills, a calm demeanour, and a proactive attitude.
