Male Learning Support Assistants – SEN School / Southend‑on‑Sea, Essex

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have the patience, empathy, and resilience to support students in reaching their full potential?

Role Overview
  • Provide one-to‑one and group support to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH challenges.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored educational plans under the guidance of teaching staff and SEN coordinators.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support students with personal care and mobility needs where required.
What We Are Looking For
  • Male applicants with a genuine interest in SEN education (due to specific student needs and safeguarding requirements).
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills, a calm demeanour, and a proactive attitude.
