Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent support to a visually impaired client with a farming background, covering for the regular support worker when they are away.
  • Assist with community tasks such as cooking, cleaning, managing finances, attending appointments and supporting the client’s social life.
  • Offer a customised, responsive and high‑quality service in the client’s home and within the community.
Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle (business car insurance essential).
  • Knowledge of BSL Level 1 or BSL first language (required).
  • Experience or knowledge of multi‑sensory impairments / learning difficulties (beneficial).
  • Positive, can‑do attitude, caring and empathetic, great communicator.
  • Willingness to attend training and support you in your role.
