Job description

Supporting a young autistic boy who communicates with simple words. A male carer who would act as a role model and can support him with personal care and going out in the community. The carer will need to be willing to go into the swimming pool with him, to ride a bike with him and do sport activities . Support is required with tasks such as:

• Washing, creaming, dressing, preparing breakfast, getting ready
• Domestic tasks (ironing, cleaning, washing, hoovering).
• Shopping
• After school activities
• Swimming pool, rides in the park, games, sport , taking my son to activities for SEN children (different organisations like Streatham Youth Centre / Oxygen)
• Assist with homework
• Experience working with autistic children is essential as well as a willingness to learn
