Are you an experienced SENCO passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Andover on a part-time basis (3 days per week). Join our team as a Primary SENCO and make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and delivery of inclusive strategies that ensure every child thrives. Your expertise will empower staff, support families, and drive positive outcomes for pupils with SEND, fostering a culture where diversity is celebrated and learning is accessible for all.

About the Role
  • Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to promote inclusion and positive outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate SEND strategies, providing guidance and training to staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and National Award for SEN Coordination.
  • Proven experience as a SENCO.
