Are you an experienced Planned Works / Project Manager with a background in kitchens, bathrooms and roofing projects?
Do you want a stable, client-side role where you can run programmes, work closely with residents and contractors, and see the difference your work makes on people's homes?
On offer is a permanent role with a strong package, genuine job security and clear progression opportunities into more senior delivery and leadership positions. You'll take ownership of major planned works programmes, lead on site 4 days a week, and be trusted to drive quality, safety and customer satisfaction across a South London & Kent patch.
This organisation is known for investing in its people, promoting from within and offering excellent work-life balance. You'll join a major works team that partners with tier‑one contractors on large, planned programmes, with the backing of a people‑focused employer offering flexible/agile working, training & new qualifications and long‑term career development.
In this role, you'll oversee the delivery of kitchen and bathroom renewals, roofing and external works, making sure projects are well‑planned, de‑risked and completed to a high standard. You'll be out on site most of the week, working with Site Managers and QSs, checking quality and compliance, and acting as the key point of contact for residents and stakeholders. You'll also keep programmes and data up to date, using Excel and internal systems to track progress, costs, risks and actions.
The ideal candidate has solid planned maintenance / major works experience in the built environment – ideally housing – with hands‑on exposure to kitchens, bathrooms and roofing. You'll be confident on site, comfortable talking to residents and contractors alike, strong on health & safety and asbestos awareness, and diligent with paperwork, reporting and IT.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a planned works professional from a housing or contractor background to step into a secure, rewarding client‑side role – running meaningful programmes, working with great people and building a long‑term career.
