Reporting line
This position reports directly to the UK Well Services Workshop Supervisor.
Role
Lead the Well Services Maintenance Team/Allocating Work as requested by the Maintenance Workshop Supervisor.
Key responsibilities (not limited to)
- Maintain a High Standard of Housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace
- Lead Safety Culture with focus on Archer with five core value in line with other workshop personnel
- Lead the Well Services Maintenance Team/Allocating Work as requested by the Maintenance Workshop Supervisor
- Review all equipment Maintenance Checklist in line with Archer's policies and procedures
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor in compiling equipment documentation and certification prior to sign off
- Make recommendations for improvement to the departments performance and efficiency
- Audit Work methods, checklists, maintenance processes to ensure service quality compliance
- Mentor other team members to ensure optimum service quality
- Manage workshop personnel.

- workmanship standards,
- training, and competency validation (with support from the Maintenance Supervisor).
- Inspect equipment during and after completion for Workmanship,quality and cleanliness of assigned areas
Qualifications/Education
- Fluent in written and verbal English
- Technical qualifications in mechanical maintenance
Experience
Previous experience of supervising employees in an oilfield workshop
- In Equivalent Role: 3/5 yrs
- Equipment Maintenance Field Experience: 5 yrs
- Oil & Gas Sector Experience: 10 yrs minimum
- High school dipolma or technical certification recognised by industry
- Mechanical experience essential.
- Hydraulic experience preferred
- Be able to understand engineering drawings or documentation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word (Basic)
- Basic Numeracy and literacy skills
