A community organization in Holywood seeks a maintenance operative to ensure high-quality service across its facilities. The role demands a flexible, multi-skilled individual with experience in building maintenance and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include providing maintenance services, ensuring safety and compliance of the site, and undertaking a variety of tasks. A driver's license is required, and candidates should be capable of lifting and working at heights.
The post holder will provide a high-quality, responsive maintenance service across Camphill Community Glencraig. Additionally, the post holder will be expected to undertake a wide range of duties to maintain and improve the fabric of the buildings and grounds. This includes planned and reactive tasks, ensuring the site is kept safe, compliant, and operational at all times. The role requires a flexible, multi-skilled operative with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to the evolving needs of the community.

Salary: £25,681 - £27,261 per annum. 5-point scale increasing with length of service
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, Mon – Fri, 8:30am to 4:30pm
Length of Contract: Permanent
