Are you ready to make a real impact in renewable energy and environmental sustainability? As a Mechanical Maintainer, you’ll be a vital part of a high-performing team that supports sludge treatment, green energy generation, and the production of high-quality biosolids. Your work will help Severn Trent deliver on its carbon reduction commitments and maintain strong relationships with the agricultural community.
You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment across our Bioresources sites. Your role will ensure that all systems run efficiently and safely, supporting the production of biomethane gas, electricity, and biosolids in line with environmental regulations and industry standards.
Collaboration is key in this role. You’ll work closely with internal teams across Bioresources and Wastewater Recycling to help meet site compliance and regulatory goals. We’ll support your development through a structured competency framework, with clear pathways from foundation to skilled and expert levels—each reflected in your pay progression. Once you reach skilled level, you’ll also have the opportunity to broaden your expertise through multi-skilling.

You’ll be working across several key sites in Area 2 Worcester & Gloucester, including Roundhill, Kidderminster, Worcester, Hayden (Cheltenham), Netheridge (Gloucester), and Stanley Downton (Stroud).
