Job summary

DENSO Marston Ltd, based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, is seeking a Maintenance Technician with an Electrical or Mechanical bias to diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and improve machinery reliability across a busy manufacturing environment. The role requires a time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent, with relevant experience in manufacturing maintenance and PLC fault-finding.

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills are essential for maintaining production

Qualifications

• Time served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent required.
• ONC or City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum two years' manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills.
• PLC fault-finding experience is desirable.
• Experience maintaining production machinery and records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, fault-find and repair manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to production breakdowns safely and effectively.
• Complete preventative maintenance and equipment improvements.
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings.
• Work across legacy and modern machinery.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote high standards of safety and housekeeping.
