Job Description: Maintenance Technician - Telford

Location: Telford

Salary: £39,000 per annum

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Monday to Friday)

Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a fresh challenge with a stable day shift and a competitive salary?

We're looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in Telford. In this role, you'll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance across foiling lines and aluminium finishing plant, playing a key role in reducing downtime and supporting high-quality production.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform daily maintenance, servicing and repair of production machinery
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out urgent repairs when needed
• Complete compliance checks, maintain records, and support site safety
• Carry out planned repair work to manufacturers' standards
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Support the creation and updating of SOPs and risk assessments
• Work closely with the Engineering Manager and team to deliver continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

• Relevant electrical qualification (e.g. current edition wiring certification)
• Good mechanical aptitude with a strong understanding of industrial machinery
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Logical, methodical approach to problem solving
