Multi-skilled Engineer

Annual Salary: £35,000

Location: Manchester City Centre

Job Type: Full-time days (every other weekend - days back in lieu)

Join the thriving Maintenance team at a luxury department store in Manchester. We are seeking a Multi-skilled Engineer who is passionate about maintaining high standards and embraces . Day-to-day responsibilities

• Take ownership of all maintenance tasks, records, and daily operations within the store.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and conform to the latest legislative requirements.
• Build and maintain key relationships internally across the store and with contractors, especially within the Facilities team.
• Actively identify, prevent, and address any health and safety risks and hazards.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements including the HASAWA Act, COSHH, EU Directives, and company Health & Safety Procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Engineer, preferably in a retail or luxury environment.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with team members and external companies.
• A proactive approach to health and safety.
• Ability to work independently on projects and tasks while ensuring effective communication with departmental management.
