We’re recruiting a Maintenance Technician for a company that operates internationally in the production and manufacture of electronic components.

Responsibilities
  • Preventive and reactive maintenance of production machines, covering both mechanical and electrical aspects.
  • Total Productive Maintenance of operations machinery, tools and fixtures including SMT and in line flow solder plant.
  • Using kaizen to plan, trial and implement practical improvement in processes.
  • Co-ordinating external contracts for machinery.
  • Daily “on call” cover for maintenance.
  • PPM root cause and counter measure programs.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Problem solving electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in Mechanical and Electrical repairs.
  • Experience maintaining production machinery within a production environment (distinct advantage).
Salary, Hours and Benefits
  • £30,000 to £35,000 dependent on experience/related industry qualifications.
  • Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Fridays 7.30am to 12.30pm.
