Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a Service Technician at the Tesco Aylesford site to perform maintenance tasks, ensure equipment availability, and uphold safety and quality standards. You will work on maintaining installations, diagnosing faults, and coordinating with team members to keep processes running smoothly.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, collaboration, and proactive problem solving in an FMCG setting, with shifts including nights and opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in maintenance mechanical/electrical discipline.
• Willing to work shifts including nights.
• Experience with maintenance planning and 18th Edition (BS 7671).
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing or automated environment.
• Experience in training/coaching.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the various installations to ensure top condition.
• Carry out malfunction, preventive and periodic maintenance with colleagues.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical and control faults.
