Job description
Maintenance Technician – Telford

Term: Permanent, Full‑Time. Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 08:30‑17:15, Friday 08:00‑12:30. Total: 37.5 hours per week.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our engineering team who will aid in full training and get you up and running on exciting projects. This role involves the mechanical and electrical assembly of high‑precision measurement machines, jigs, and fixtures. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers, fitters, and wiremen to build complete systems from component level to finished product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components for precision measurement machines.
  • Perform bench fitting and mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Fault finding on machinery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification or time‑served equivalent.
  • HNC qualification desirable.
  • Proven experience in mechanical/electrical fitting within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Experience within an automation environment.
  • Maintenance or fault finding.
