MTrec Recruitment are representing our industry leading manufacturing client in their search for a talented, multi-skilled maintenance technician.

The Job you will do:
  • Execute scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) tasks in line with the maintenance plan to ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and update the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure all maintenance records, work orders, and schedules are accurate and current.
  • Develop and implement PM plans, coordinating with Plant Engineering and other departments on projects, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Support root cause analysis for equipment failures and identify actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Implement targeted activities to minimize production downtime and enhance asset performance.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports and collect relevant operational data for performance tracking.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, including ordering and stock control, to ensure critical components are available when needed.
  • Identify and eliminate waste within maintenance processes, seeking efficiency improvements in cost, time and quality.
  • Proactively raise and address issues that may affect production costs or product quality, working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to resolve them
About you:
  • You will be a time served maintenance engineer and hold a minimum of a HNC level qualification (Electrical Preferred)
  • You will have worked in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and can hit the ground running in a dynamic working environment.
  • You must have knowledge of PLC fault finding
  • Ideally you will have an 18th edition, but this is not essential.
  • You will have in depth understanding of maintenance safe systems of work such as LOTO etc
