Job summary

A well-established manufacturer in Tees Valley is seeking a Time-Served Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and optimise machinery. You will perform reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance, requiring strong electrical maintenance skills. This role offers a 4-day working week and the chance to work with innovative machinery in a forward-thinking business.

Qualifications

  • Engineering qualification ideally in electrical maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding skills across PLC’s, VSD’s, relay logic circuits, and control panels.
  • Hands-on experience with motors, gearboxes, pumps, and conveyors.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and optimising machinery and facilities to ensure smooth production.
  • Reactive fault finding and carrying out effective repairs.
  • Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks.
  • Conducting routine inspections to keep equipment running at its best.

Skills

Hours: 6 – 6, rotating days and nights (Monday – Thursday)
