Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance, inspections and repairs on advanced automated plant and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic issues to determine appropriate solutions, which will extend to supporting Plc Controls and / or Robots.
• Collaborate with other shift team members to address urgent maintenance requirements and minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work done, parts used, and time spent.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.

Requirements of a Maintenance Technician

• Electrical qualifications to City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 3 standard.
• Completion of a recognised apprenticeship programme.
• Proven experience in undertaking planned and reactive maintenance to plant and equipment within a manufacturing or production environment that has included Plc controls and robot technology.
