Job description

Proactive Personnel ltd are currently recruiting for a number of skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our client based in the ST3 area. These are electrically biased but all skills will be considered.

Shifts:

  • 4 on 4 off rotation (06:00 – 16:00, 12:00 – 22:00).
  • Weekend shifts on rota will be 10 hour shifts.

Pay: £41,000 – £44,500.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be playing a key role in ensuring the manufacturing process runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for addressing faulty equipment, carrying out planned and preventative maintenance tasks whilst ensuring collaboration with the rest of the manufacturing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot plant and machinery using various maintenance disciplines.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out necessary repairs.
  • Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment and systems.
  • Work closely with management to support production goals.
  • Follow health and safety procedures, completing necessary documentation.

In order to be considered for these roles, you must:

  • Be a time served electrician with C&G qualification (in hand)
  • 18th Edition preferred but not essential.
  • Hydraulic / pneumatic experience would be beneficial
