Overview

As a Maintenance Technician at Tesco across Plymouth, South Hams and surrounding areas, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our stores remain a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. You’ll be part of a skilled team responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of systems and equipment, helping to keep our operations running smoothly. Your work will directly impact the shopping experience of thousands of customers every day. You’ll use your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently, always prioritising safety, compliance, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Follow the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Work closely with team members, sharing best practice and knowledge.
• General day to day store and property maintenance.
• Use mobile devices—phone and tablet—to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
• Represent the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities, and the planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude & taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
